InfoPowa News Senior Partner Brian Cullingworth Passes

Brian Cullingworth

I received some very sad news last night, concerning InfoPowa News Senior Partner, Brian Cullingworth, who sadly died on Wednesday 6th February 2019. Brian had been a long time friend of mine, pretty much since the inception of

A Senior Partner of InfoPowa News, Brian was personally responsible for thousands of the gambling news articles which can be found throughout CR. As I had used Infopowa’s services for some ten years, from 2006 – 2016.

An extremely knowledgable individual when it came to iGaming, Brian was a strong advocate for players rights and was as honest as they come.  He was also well known within the player community as a regular poster on the Casinomeister Forum, where he went by under the handle ‘Jetset’

Back in 2011, Brian along with Bryan Bailey from Casinomeister, Ian Sims from Rightlander and the departed Ted Loh, all came down to my home town of Bath, instead of attending the London Affiliate Conference in 2009.

A great time was had by all of us and it was a weekend where good friends could get together away from the hustle and bustle of a conference.

Webzcas, Jetset and Casinomeister

I met Brian many times over the years and in 2011 I had the honour of him accepting an invitation  from me to be on’s table at the iGaming Affiliate Awards.

Brian was well respected within iGaming, with many operators subscribing to his InfoPowa News articles. So as they could keep a finger on the pulse, to ensure they were up to date with what was happening in the iGaming Industry.

In this industry there are few and far trustworthy stand up individuals. Brian was one such person. A gentleman, quick witted and a top all round guy. You will be missed my friend.

Condolences to Brian’s wife and family at this very sad time.
