In the city of Interlaken, Switzerland, there is a conference center known as Kursaal that is home to Casino Interlaken. This privately-owned casino is one part of a variety of services offered by the conference center – and it is a vibrant place for meetings, dining, and gambling.
Zurich International Airport is the closest airport to Casino Interlaken, and it takes approximately 2 hours to drive there via the national highway. It is a 140 km drive which takes you through various rural Swiss mountain regions. Public transportation is available at the airport via taxis and busses or, alternatively, you can always rent a car.
There are plenty of things to do in Switzerland and sightseeing is certainly one of the most popular activities. Interlaken is located between two pristine lakes; Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. You will also have direct access to the southern and northern parts of the country. Traveling south will take you to the Swiss Alps and their various hikes and viewpoints.

This casino is situated inside of a stylish conference center where all rooms are similarly designed with 10 meter high ceilings, various wall lights and chandeliers, light colored walls, and wooden floors. The casino is attractive because of its unique location, its selection of both high limit and low limit games, and access to various other nearby services.
There is a total of 6 table games and 124 electronic games which means it is a small casino; but what they lack in quantity they make up for in entertainment facilities. Casino goers also have access to a restaurant, bar, a stage which features live music and comedy, and various meeting/event halls which can be rented out for special functions. The casino is open every day from 12 PM to 2 AM and the table games open in the afternoon, starting at 4 PM.

Table Games at Casino Interlaken

Casino Interlaken only has a small selection of just 6 table games. These are made up of roulette, blackjack, and poker variations.
American roulette is the primary style played here, and it allows a minimum bet of $5 while players can bet as much as $150.
Blackjack and poker make up the rest of the tables. Both of these tables have the same $5 minimum and allow players to wager up to a maximum of $50 per hand.
Poker fans will be disappointed that there are no cash tables or tournament poker, but there is 1 Ultimate Texas Hold’Em game.

The bulk of the games at Casino Interlaken are electronic, including slot machines and some video poker. There are only 5 video poker machines while the rest of the 119 electronic games are all slots.
The slot machines are divided into different categories based on the featured game, denomination, and whether or not it offers progressive jackpots. There is an area devoted specifically to the progressive jackpot machines. The minimum bet at all of these slot machines is $0.01 and the maximum is $25 a spin.

There is no hotel inside the conference center itself, but Interlaken is home to many accommodation options. Many of these are within walking distance of the casino.
Hotel du Nord Interlaken has rooms available starting at $250 a night. Amenities available include complimentary breakfast and WiFi, air-conditioned rooms, room and laundry service, and a restaurant and bar.
Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa is the most luxurious hotel and nearest hotel to Casino Interlaken. A room here will cost you at least $750 a night but will provide you with access to various services such as a fitness center, a spa, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub, and free breakfast and WiFi.

Restaurants at Casino Interlaken

Restaurant Spycher is the in-house restaurant at the Casino Interlaken and conference center. The restaurant has a fully-equipped bar that serves guests both in the restaurant dining area and on the casino gambling floor.
The restaurant is similarly designed and requires guests to be dressed in the same, semi-casual, attire. The atmosphere is calm and professional. The menu is small but sophisticated and features famous items from different European countries.
Other restaurants in the area are Des Alpes, Restaurant The Verandah, Restaurant Taverne, and Restaurant La Terrasse.
