Casino Davos is a small property offering slots and table games that first opened its doors to the public back in 2008. It is located in the town of Davos which lies in the Swiss Alps, and is where the annual World Economic Forum is held. If you find yourself with free time while visiting Davos, skiing is the by far the most popular activity, but there are also plenty of spas and hiking trails to enjoy.
The closest international airport to Casino Davos is in Zurich, and this is where you will want to arrive if you plan on visiting. The casino is approximately a 2 hour drive from Zurich International Airport and the two most common modes of transportation there are train and car.

Casino Davos is situated inside of a glass building that is nestled into the side of a mountain peak, which towers over it in the background. The inside of the casino is very flashy with an emphasis on lighting, and it seems to mimic the atmosphere you would expect to find at one of the casinos in Las Vegas.
Unlike most Las Vegas Casinos, however, Casino Davos is not opened 24/7. They operate daily from 2 PM until 2 AM, with the table games only being available during the winter season.
Blackjack tournaments are one of the main attractions at Casino Davos, and they are hosted on a regular basis. The prizes are sponsored by the bicycle manufacturer, Giant, and often include a new Giant bicycles as well as a cash prize.

Table Games at Casino Davos

The casino only has a limited amount of table games, but they do include the most popular game variations.
Blackjack is a local favorite and you will find a couple of tables at this casino. Some of these tables let you play side bets, such as PairsPlus. Many tables also pay 3:2 on a natural blackjack.
There is only 1 poker variation available, with a single table of Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em.
Last but not least there is roulette at the casino in the form of both normal (European roulette) and electronic roulette.

Hotel Europe Davos is surrounded by mountains in a building that dates back to 1866. The rooms are modern with hardwood floors, sitting areas, and flat-screen TVs, along with minibars and free WiFi. A standard room here will cost you about $180 per night.
There is complimentary buffet-style breakfast and other amenities including a restaurant, indoor pool, sauna and fitness room, plus a piano bar and 2 nightclubs.
Hotel Strela is within walking distance of Casino Davos and is your cheapest option in the area. A night here will set you back about $140 for a standard 2-person room. The rooms are simple and come with free WiFi and TVs. Breakfast and parking are complimentary.
