Amusement City Casino got its start back in 1974 and has been going strong ever since as a central gaming powerhouse. It has earned its rightful place among Dublin’s best casinos and its huge following is a testament to the professionalism and attention to detail shown by Amusement City’s owners and friendly staff.
Amusement City Casino is perfectly located within the city of Dublin. Situated on Westmoreland Street, the casino is right around the corner from the famous O’Connell Street, which is home to hundreds of fantastic hotels, restaurants, and bars.
Gamblers at Amusement City will always have something to do. The Hard Rock Cafe and Palace Bar are right around the corner. The Irish Whiskey Museum is also close by, and right between the famous Parliament Square and Molly Malone Statue. The list of fantastic things to do is long, and the convenient location of the casino makes it simple to find entertainment.
Getting to Amusement City Casino is always easy, and there are a few preferred ways to get there. Driving is the most convenient option, as there is a large parking garage in the area, but visitors can also take local buses and taxis. All it is takes is a quick 30-minute trip down the M50 to get to Amusement City Casino from the airport.

Casino at Amusement City

To enter and play at the casino, players must be at least 21 years of age. The dress code is relaxed but there are a few rules. Visitors to the casino must wear closed toe shoes and long pants. So long as you are dressed in a smart casual style, you will have no issues.
Amusement City Casino is not a large casino but you wouldn’t know that by looking at all the games they have to offer. The casino prides itself on its huge selection of slots, table games, and the ever-popular video roulette tables. As the actual space within the casino is not large, it is very easy to experience everything that the casino has to offer with little effort. All the games are open everyday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The atmosphere of Amusement City Casino is quite warm, although no one would call the layout spacious. The walls are lined with slot machines and the floor also has rows of slot machine “islands” that create a kind of corridor system. The effect can come across as feeling a little-crowded at first, however, once you get into the first couple of games it is easy to settle in and feel comfortable. We actually prefer having more options to more space, and options are where Amusement City Casino really shines.

Table Games at Amusement City Casino

The table games on offer at Amusement City are blackjack, Punto Banco, baccarat, and a few variations of poker. The most popular table game in the casino is Texas Hold’em. All of the table games available are cash tables and they have varying limits to suit low, medium, and high stakes bets.
Also, you will find roulette at the casino but you won’t find a table with a wheel and a dealer. Instead, all roulette games available here are played on video roulette machines which are spread around the outside of the casino floor. There are both single-player roulette machines and a couple of multi-player roulette stations.

Slots and Video Poker at Amusement City Casino

Amusement City Casino definitely comes across as a “slots-first” casino. There are literally hundreds of options for slots players to keep themselves well-immersed. Making up the long list of slots players enjoy traditional slot machines, multi-line video slots, interactive machines and progressive jackpot games.
The slots available at Amusement City are geared towards just about every type of player. They include everything from casual penny and nickel slots, all the way up to high limit machines.

Hotel and Accommodation at Amusement City Casino

When you are in town to play at Amusement City Casino, there are a few hotel options that you shouldn’t miss. The most popular option is The Morgan, a four-star hotel with many options and extras for its guests. Reviews for The Morgon are all gleaning, making this option one of the best for lodging near the casino.
If you are looking for a little more class, Conrad Dublin is a wonderful five-star hotel. The Hilton Garden, Ashling Hotel Dublin, and the Marker Hotel are also well worth a look as well.

Restaurants at Amusement City Casino

Amusement City Casino does not have a restaurant but there are many places to eat in the surrounding areas. You can find foods and drink of all types including snack foods, fast food, traditional Irish food, international cuisine, bars, grills, and much more. Some of our favorites are Dax Restaurant serving up a classic European menu, the delicious Syrian restaurant called Damascus Gate, The Quays Irish Restaurant, and the Vintage Kitchen.
