Casino Dominicus Review
Casino Dominicus is located in the resort district of Bayahibe, not far from the city of La Romana. It is nestled among palm trees and sandy beaches, making it a popular spot for vacationers and tourists. This area is on the East coast of the Dominican Republic, on the doorstep of the East National Park and the Playa Dominicus Beach.
The casino is situated only a short 20-minute drive away from the nearest airport, La Romana International. Taxi cabs and a wide choice of car rental services are available to make getting between the casino and the airport easy; these can be booked in advance or once you’ve landed.
There are plenty of additional activities for visitors to enjoy at Casino Dominicus and the surrounding areas. These include the gorgeous local beaches where you can go fishing, snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean sea. La Romana has historic buildings and educational sites, and the surrounding area is full of natural beauty to explore.
As with all casinos in the Dominican Republic, you must be aged 18 or over to enter, so make sure you have your ID with you. There is not a very strict dress code, but you should aim for smart-casual wear.
Casino Dominicus a medium-sized establishment and is privately-owned. It is open daily from from 3 PM to 3 AM. You can expect a tropical casino setting here including a reasonably lit casino floor with red décor and carpeting. This is not one of the most well-known or popular casinos, but tourists do happen to stumble across the casino as it is recommended by some of the local hotels. It is generally quiet inside and is now known for getting overly crowded.
There are just a few table games and slots to be played here. Some people have mentioned to beware of the dealers as their counting skills are not always up to scratch. Local hotels will sometimes offer guests $20 in free chips to play here, so you should always ask at the door or cashier if there are any promotions.

American Roulette is available too. There is a live table with a croupier as well as an electronic roulette machine with an automated wheel.
There are several blackjack tables lined up in a row out on the main gaming floor. The rules of blackjack here are slightly different to the rules played in the US, so it is best to ask the dealer to explain how blackjack is played here before betting.
Slots and Video Poker at Casino Dominicus
You will find a large collection of slots at the Casino Dominicus dominating the gaming floor. Video slots take up the large majority of slot games here. However, there are also some classic 3-reel slots.
