Hotel Villa is home to Lucky’s Casino Tournon, which is managed by Thunderbird Resorts Incorporated (TRI). TRI owns and manages all Lucky’s Casinos in Costa Rica and has partnerships with numerous independent hotels. Lucky’s Tournon property is located right in the center of San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica.
It is conveniently located 10 km away from Tobias Bolanos International Airport and will take guests 20 minutes to get to the casino from there. Plenty if transportation options are available including Hotel Villa Tournon’s private shuttle service as well as public buses, taxis, and car rental agencies.
San Jose can be used to access various tourist destinations, ranging from their black sand beaches to some of the largest volcanoes in South America, such as Volcan Irazu. Attractions inside San Jose city include the Children’s Museum, Simon Bolivar National Botanical Gardens and Zoo, and De La Paz Park.
Identification will be asked at the entrance to the casino and guests must be at least 18 years old.
Lucky’s Casino Tournon
Hotel Villa Tournon provides ample space for Lucky’s Casino’s 50 gaming machines and 5 table games. Located on the second floor of their hotel you will find the entrance to the casino. Any chip purchases take place at the reception booth and from here the rest of the gaming floor is in plain view. First are the table games, followed by gaming machines.
The main attraction to this casino is its variety of competitions on offer. Most nights there are spot prizes which give random guests free credits to be used on any of their gaming machines. Alternatively, they have monthly bingo competitions and popular cash-only poker tournaments which usually attract high rollers. The on-site hotel has a restaurant that serves guests their full menu from their dining area and their light meal menu from the casino. They are open for all meals of the day, starting with guests’ complimentary breakfast at 7 am and ending with dinner service that finishes at 11 pm.
Their menu is internationally inspired and has a large selection to choose from. If you are looking for a different dining experience, San Jose has many restaurants to choose from.
