Casino de San Javier is the only casino located in a small border town of northeast Argentina. The town of San Javier is situated along the Uruguay River and is less than 100 meters away from neighboring Brazil.
The province of Misiones, where San Javier is located, has plenty of attractions to keep tourists occupied. Popular destinations include Iguazu National Park, and its various hikes, rivers, and waterfalls, San Ignacio Mini Ruins, La Aripuca, and Tancredo Neves Bridge.
The nearest airport, Libertador General Jose de San Martin, is located 2-hours away by car, outside the city of Posadas. It is the largest airport in the area and hosts both international and domestic flights. Public transportation to San Javier is limited to a small number of buses, so other than that, you will need to rent a car and park at the casino.

San Javier is a quiet little town, so this casino is one of the main attractions in the area. Though it is a relatively small casino but for its location, it is still a prime gambling destination. The casino is located inside a building and is split onto two floors which house its gaming floor, live music area, and a small restaurant. The casino is open between 4 PM and 5 AM, and there is no entrance fee.
The roulette tables are the main attraction at the casino and offers the highest limits available. The restaurant inside the casino is small but has a decent menu with reasonable prices. The a la carte menu has numerous Argentinian dishes but also some international classics. The dress code is casual and the restaurant only opens for dinner service at 8 pm.
