Casino de Bariloche is the only gambling option in San Carlos de Bariloche (commonly called Bariloche). This is a small town in Argentina’s Patagonia region that borders Nahuel Huapi, a large glacial lake surrounded by the Andes Mountains.
Bariloche has a lot to offer visitors. Many tourists enjoy viewing its Swiss alpine-style architecture and sampling the local chocolate sold in shops lining Calle Mitre, the main street. It’s also a popular base for hikers and skiers visiting the nearby mountains.
To get to this casino in the Patagonia region you must take a flight from Buenos Aires International airport. From the airport, in Bariloche, you can catch one of the many buses that depart on a fixed schedule to and from the city center.

Casino de Bariloche

The casino lies inside of a tall glass building that is annexed to the Hotel Panamericano Bariloche. The building has a large sign at its peak that reads “Casino”. The rest of the casino is split into 3 floors: the first two floors comprise the gaming section of the casino and the 3rd floor is where you will find the two restaurants.
The casino also hosts weekly No Limits Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments, and you can find a complete schedule along with details on their Facebook page.
The casino is open daily and the opening times are as follows: Sunday-Thursday from 2 PM to 4 AM and Friday-Saturday from 2 PM to 5 AM.

Table Games at Casino de Bariloche

The first level of the casino is a table games section that boats a wide variety of the most popular table games. The primary games played here are blackjack, craps, baccarat and roulette.
There are 4 blackjack tables at this casino and you can play the side bet Pairs Plus on many of the tables. The minimum and maximum bets allowed for the tables are $1 and $100 and $2 and $200 respectively (depending on the table).
Then there are also 4 tables dedicated to the game of craps. The minimum and maximum bets allowed for the craps tables are either $1 and $50 or $10 and $100 (depending on the table).
Baccarat is also available at here, and there is a total of 4 Punto Banco tables which have minimum and maximum bets of $10 and $1000 respectively.
Lastly, there is a variety of electronic roulette games at this casino. There are 5 electronic roulette terminals and 3 of these are fully automated roulette terminals and the other two are I-Tables where tablets are used to control the betting.

Poker at Casino de Bariloche

There is a poker room at this casino that can be found on the ground floor, in the same area where players will find all the other table games. In Casino de Bariloche’s poker room, they play No Limit Texas Hold ‘em cash games and tournaments. There are only 5 tables here, with each one seating up to 8 people.
Note that on occasion there are sit ‘n’ go poker games offered, as well as the occasional tournament, which the casino is more than well-equipped for as it can seat up to 40 players at a time.

Slots and Video Poker at Casino de Bariloche

There are over 300 gambling machines at this casino and they are all located on the second floor of the casino. In this slots section, you will find video reel machines in 3-reel, 4-reel and 5-reel variations. Some of these machines are connected to a progressive jackpot network.
The other machines are made up of either video poker or multi-game machines where you can play a variety of different pre-loaded games like Keno and Bingo.

Hotel and Accommodation at Casino de Bariloch

There is one hotel at the casino called Hotel Panamericano Bariloche. One night in a standard room at this hotel will cost upwards of $200 per night, however. Amenities include free breakfast and parking, a cozy fondue restaurant and a lobby piano bar. There’s also a luxury spa and an indoor pool.
If you are traveling on a tight budget you will most likely prefer to sleep elsewhere than at the casino hotel, so here are a few cheaper options:
Hostel Los Troncos is close by and costs approximately $30 per night for a standard room.
Moving Hostel Travel Bar is close by and costs approximately $40 per night for a standard.
Punto Sur Hostel is close by and costs approximately $35 per night for an average room that sleeps 2.

Restaurants at Casino de Bariloche

There are two restaurants at the casino where you can dine according to what your budget allows:
Nivel 1 Restobar is the more low-budget dining option at this casino where they serve food in a buffet style and the price for a plate of food is very reasonable.
La Cave is the main restaurant of the casino where the prices are slightly higher because the food is served a la carte and prepared by a professional chef.
Here are a few restaurants in the nearby area:
La Parrilla de Tony is a casual spot that is great for groups.
Restaurant Familia de Caso is a family-owned restaurant with outdoor seating available.
