Aristocrat Has The Coolest Games …Offline

Fact: One of my favorite (slot) software companies is IGT. They’re behind killer titles such as The Dark Knight, Jurassic Park and Monopoly.

(I play The Dark Knight every time I go to Las Vegas. Every. Time.)

Another favorite of mine is Aristocrat, an Australian company who has been developing software for offline casinos for more than 60 years.

What I like most about them is they, too, have permission to develop slots games around popular movies, TV shows and comic book characters. Some of their more popular titles include The Walking Dead, Jaws and Superman.

In fact, I remember the last trip I took to Las Vegas. There were a couple new titles I didn’t remember seeing before – a Batman Classic TV Series and Wonder Woman slots.

Being the Batman fan I am I couldn’t resist sitting down to play.

What I remember most are the short scenes they would show from the classic TV show whenever you hit a specific combination, like a bonus or set of wilds. They would do their classic 60’s dances, catchphrases and stunts.

There were plenty of bonus opportunities, too. I remember one where Batman and Robin would scale a wall, and along the way you’d be given small bonuses.

There was another (the main bonus) that used the Wonder Wheel Aristocrat is known for. This would either pay you out a lump sum or trigger a character-specific bonus round depending on which character the wheel stopped on.

It was tons of fun, even though I didn’t win squat.

The machine I would’ve liked to play, but didn’t, is The Walking Dead. The wife and I are fans of the show, so I put it on my list of games to check out.

I never did, though. When I finally got the opportunity to check it out, I was disappointed to find out the price was .75 or 1.00 per spin (to bet every line once). I’m not a baller and I prefer to make my money last, so I passed.

Maybe next time.

Long story short – Aristocrat has made some fun games. Even cooler yet, you can play several of their titles online.

But There’s a Downside

Well …maybe two downsides.

The first is Aristocrat only develops slot games. Not a big loss, but something to keep in mind nonetheless.

(On a somewhat brighter note,, most, if not all casinos that work with Aristocrat will also work with other software companies – like Microgaming – that have their own licensed slot titles and table games like blackjack or craps.)

The second is the list of titles you can play online – it includes pretty much none of the cool ones I listed above.

Instead, you can play these:

  • Buffalo Slot
  • Love of the Nile Slots
  • More Chilli Slots
  • Zorro Slots
  • Geisha Slots
  • Lucky 88 Slots
  • Tarzan and Jane Slots
  • Wicked Winnings Slots
  • Outback Jack Slot
  • Sopranos Slot Game
  • Big Red Slots
  • Where’s the Gold Slot
  • Wonder 4 Slots
  • 50 Lions Slots
  • Fire Light Slots
  • Red Baron Slots
  • Imperial House Slots

Are these fun? Sure.

Is there a licensed game or two? You bet.

But I want to play The Walking Dead. I want to play Classic TV Batman. I want to play Jurassic Park.

For now, you can’t. I guess that just gives you an excuse to make a trip to Las Vegas or Atlantic City sometime in the near future.

For Everyone Else, Here are Some Aristocrat-Powered Casinos

Let’s start this off with some good news: There aren’t any casinos using Aristocrat software on the rogue list at

There are some average casinos, though. Those include:

  • MamaMia Bingo/Casino
  • Sky Vegas (no rating)
  • Slots Magic

You can skip these if you want.

The casinos you DO want to check out are plentiful. There are so many we had to limit our list to the top five – these five:

  • Bet365 Casino
  • BetVictor Casino
  • Boyle Casino
  • InterCasino
  • Mr Green

This is enough to keep you busy for a looong time.

Take Bet365, for example. They have poker, sports betting, bingo and arcade games on top of their casino selection. They’re like a brick and mortar casinos, only virtual.

Between their game selection, software, bonuses and support, you’ll be plenty happy here. I only wish I could play here (Americans can’t play at any Aristocrat casino).

But you can’t go wrong with any casino on that list. Just keep one thing in mind, though – each casino might have a different number / selection of Aristocrat titles. So, if there’s a specific game you’re looking for, make sure they have it before you make your deposit.
