ICE Totally Gaming

The ICE Totally Gaming Show is an annual three day event for the Gaming and iGaming industries, which is held in London at the beginning of February.

Formerly known as the ‘International Casino Exhibition‘, the show put on by Clarion Events is now held in the massive Excel London.

The ICE Show was indeed the first such show that I attended as a bona fida full time casino affiliate. Where I made the journey from my then home of Gibraltar to Earls Court London ( The Previous Venue ) in January 2006. As such ICE Totally Gaming will always have a special place in my heart when it comes to iGaming Conferences and Events.

Back in 2006 the floor space dedicated to iGaming was considerably less than what it has morphed into today. However, that first ICE I attended in 2006 allowed me to meet and network with some very special people, people who I still regard as friends to this day. Individuals such as Bryan Bailey from Casinomeister and Ian Sims from Rightlander are two such people, who have helped me during my career as a fully fledged casino affiliate.

iGaming Continues to be a Big Factor for the ICE

As you can see from watching the walk thru video above, undercover I might add, of the 2017 ICE Totally Gaming Show, the event is huge. For anyone that has ever visited Excel London, you will know first hand that the floor space is just ridiculously large. Well the ICE pretty much takes it all over and with ease.

Most noticeably is the fact that a good size part of the Excel is now devoted to iGaming, with the likes of Playtech and Microgaming in particular vying for the largest stand, no expense spared so it would seem.

As  well as being a great place to see first hand what new slot games are on the horizon, you also can get up close and personal with some of the best slots games that the land based casinos have to offer. Which with Excel London being close to Aspers Casino you can then try them out for real money in the evening!

Unlike events such as the London Affiliate Conference, which incidentally starts at the Excel the day after the ICE closes, there are no seminars or talks for affiliates to attend. However, what the ICE enables you to do is get up close and personal with the software developers and the regulators. With the likes of the UKGC having either a stand or representation at the show.

So not only do you have the chance to glean some golden nuggets of information, ICE Totally Gaming also allows you to set up meetings with your peers and also affiliate managers. As most will be in attendance due to the LAC starting straight after.

If you have never attended ICE Totally Gaming, I certainly recommend you do so at least once during your career as an iGaming webmaster. For me being based now in the UK, it is the event that I always strive to get to.

The next ICE Totally Gaming event is due to be held at Excel London between 6th February – 8th February 2018.
